CREATIVE ARTS AND PLAY THERAPY IN CORNWALL
Providing Creative Arts and Play Therapy in Cornwall, professional Play Therapist Ellie Cudmore supports children and young people holistically in a safe, nurturing, child-centered environment.
Play is fundamental to every area of a child’s development and is how they learn about their world and their place in it. It is their natural language and allows them to express themselves creatively in a way they are not always able to verbally.
Play Therapy is a powerful way of helping us to understand the emotions our small people are feeling, giving those in need of therapeutic support the means by which to communicate.
Life can be challenging and difficult to navigate at times, and we sometimes need support to grow, heal and establish a secure sense of Self. Professional Play Therapist Ellie supports children and young people via the medium of creative play, enabling them to reach their full potential. Ellie helps children and young people tackle issues such as anxiety, bereavement, trauma, low self-esteem, parental separation and many other challenges.
Play and creativity are a child’s natural language and form of expression, and it is through these activities, in the presence of an empathetic, non-judgmental witness, that true healing and transformation can occur.
